Spartan Games has revealed the April 2017 slate of sci-fi releases, and there’s certainly a lot of it! The slate includes ships for Firestorm Armada and Halo Fleet Battles, as well as scenery that’s compatible with Planetfall and Halo Ground Command.
First up, Spartan is answering a long-held request to supply Firestorm Armada marauder models for stats that didn’t have any. The STL Traders will get some new models, and the OSO Corsairs, Firestorm’s pirate faction, will get a number of different ship models including the new Privateer-class gunships.
Interestingly, Spartan is going back to blisters with these releases, and the newsletter mentions that Firestorm Armada 3.0 is due in August 2017.
Turning to Halo Fleet Battles, the Covenant will add the Carrack Merchant Cruiser to their forces, and the UNSC will get the long-awaited Autumn-class Heavy Cruiser.
Lastly, Spartan will release some terrain for 10mm and 15mm sci-fi gaming, made up of fortified positions and ruined buildings.
All of these new shinies should be available by the end of the month and can be found on the Spartan Games store.
